Vertebral Subluxation
When the bones of your spine (vertebrae) become locked in abnormal positions, they subsequently interfere with the correct functioning of your nervous system, the condition is known as ‘Vertebral Subluxation’ and is the result of too much stress on the spine.

This can be due to:
- Physical trauma (eg birth process, car accidents, falls, repetitive strain)
- Mental stress (eg high stress occupation)
- Emotional stress (eg divorce - muscle tension can cause the vertebrae to lose their normal motion)
- Poor general spinal care including nutritional deficiencies or chemical toxins
- Lack of or inappropriate exercise
A thorough examination helps Chiropractors find these subluxations and reduces the likelihood that nervous system integrity is compromised, therefore minimising disease and ill health. Hence the reason Chiropractic care has helped millions get well and stay well.
Subluxations compromise the integrity of the nervous system
